Community Support Services – Free Community Wellbeing Clinic

We know it is a tricky time for everyone at the moment, so are dedicated to providing essential support services to those in our community.

This was highlighted in a Channel Nine News story that the Riverwood Community Centre was featured in this week, which can be found here:

Thank you to everyone who works so hard to help others in our community, especially at the moment.

One of the upcoming services available to help those in the Riverwood area is a free Community Wellbeing Clinic being held between 11am and 2pm this Thursday, the 30th of April 2020, at the Riverwood Community Centre.

The clinic is being run by Sydney Local Health Direct staff who will be able to provide a range of medical assistance such as:

  • Provide influenza vaccinations
  • Give information about COVID-19 and other health needs
  • Provide testing for COVID-19
  • Offer health screening for other issues
  • Give free Care Packages to take away which will include some essentials like soap and a toothbrush
  • Give a free meal

Between flu season, Covid-19 and general and chronic health problems, it is increasingly important to make sure we are all looking after ourselves and our health. Which is why we encourage you to come to the clinic if you live in Riverwood and could benefit from it in any way.
