The Family Support Service provides support to families with children aged from birth to 12 years, assisting parents and carers with family and parenting needs.
Our qualified staff provide a range of family support services, including information, advice, advocacy, family support and referrals to appropriate community and specialist services.
The service aims to strengthen families, support positive parenting and connect families with services and resources that respond to their individual needs.
Support for Parents
Playtime
Playtime is a supported playgroup for parents and carers with young children. It provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where children can participate in activities that encourage social interaction, learning and development.
Parents and carers also have the opportunity to connect with other families and access information, guidance and support from our team.
Parent Support Group
The Parent Support Group provides a supportive and welcoming environment for parents and carers to connect, share experiences and access information and support relating to parenting, family wellbeing and community services.
Activities and topics may vary according to the needs and interests of participating families.
