National Reconciliation Week: Virtual Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge and thank the Traditional Owners of the Land, the Bedigal Tribe of the Dharug Clan on which we meet, walk, work and live.

We acknowledge the Elders past and present and the care they have given this country.

Today is the start of National Reconciliation Week 2020. Reconciliation Australia are launching the week with a virtual Acknowledgement of Country, which encourages everyone to show respect for Traditional Owners and the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to Country.

Being part of this virtual Acknowledgement of Country brings this year’s theme, “In this together” to life. We are proud to participate and encourage you to do so in your own way so that we can help to create a more united Australia as we move together towards reconciliation.
