Riverwood community centre offers a number of function rooms, a basketball court and a few meeting rooms, ready for your next event, whether you have 25 guests or 140 guests! You can even access our modern kitchen facilities available both in Riverwood and Punchbowl.
The court hire is available for a number of sports including Basketball, Indoor Soccer, Badminton, Table Tennis and Volleyball.
We have three great venues at three different locations:
Riverwood Community Centre at 151 Belmore Street North, Riverwood
Punchbowl Community Centre, at 44 Rossmore Avenue, Punchbowl
Thurlow Street Community Hub at 31 Thurlow Street in Riverwood.
Facilities at Riverwood Community Centre and Punchbowl Community Centre have adjacent off-street car parking available.
How to Hire a Venue
To hire our venues we require you to complete two forms an Application for Booking Form and hirers agreement form to use our venues. Once you have completed the forms, please email them to accounts@riverwoodcommunity.org.au.
Once the Application has been received and approved, you will be issued with an invoice.
Invoices must be paid before the hall is used. For hall bookings, the invoice will include the payment of a bond which, subject to the conditions of hall hire being met and the venue not being damaged, is returned within two weeks of the date of hire.
Please note bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received and finalised.
Conditions of Hire
All hirers must agree to the Conditions of Hire of our venues which are set out on the Application for Booking Form. Please ensure that you are familiar with the terms and conditions of use when hiring one of our venues.
