Volunteer Telephone Contact
This program provides a weekly 'keep in touch' call from one of our friendly volunteers for housebound people who live in the Canterbury area.
The volunteer calls clients on Tuesdays between 10am and 3pm.
The call can be a brief 'keep in touch' or a longer 'chat' depending on the needs of the client.
The volunteer works under the supervision of the Neighbour Aid Co-ordinator and can monitor the needs of the client and provide information on other services as requested.
