Carers Support
Riverwood Neighbour Aid currently supports Carers in the Canterbury LGA by producing a quarterly newsletter 'Caring Contacts'.
The newsletter contains information especially for carers: about services which can provide help, and about other organisations which might be important resources for carers., such as Carers NSW and the Alzheimer's Association.
There is also information on various disabilities and useful tips on coping with difficult situations.
Caring Contacts is available to any carer living in Canterbury or to any carer who looks after a person who lives in Canterbury.
To receive the newsletter, just contact Riverwood / Canterbury Neighbour Aid and put your name on the mailing list.
The service also provides some education sessions from time to time on topics of interest. Details of these sessions are advertised in Caring Contacts.
